A leader...

I would like to share something that I found it is useful in our life with readers.

A leader's job often includes changing your people's attitudes and behavior. Begin with praise and honest appreciation. Call attention to people's mistakes indirectly. Talk about your own mistakes before criticizing the other person. Ask question instead of giving direct orders. Let the other person save face. Praise the slightest improvement and praise every improvement. Be 'hearty' in your approbation and lavish in your praise. Give the other person a fine reputation to live up to. Use encouragement. Make the fault seem easy to correct. Make the other person happy about doing the thing you suggest..

Do you agree with the above mentioned?

234th Post

Things happen when all the conditions are ready.
Things end well when all the conditions cease.
When all the conditions are ready, everything goes smoothly.
When all the conditions are not ready, everything fails.

We are happy when we get something and unhappy when we lose something. However, we can never tell whether it is lucky or unlucky when something bad happened. There's a Chinese saying that "Even if we lose the west side in a war, we may still win the east side in another battle." The feeling of possessing and losing are conditioned. If something belong to me, there is no need to fight and compete with others. It will be mine eventually. If something is not mine, no mater how hard I try to get it, it will never be mine. Sometimes, it is hard to tell whether it is good to get something or it is bad to lose it. It all depends on the conditions. When you get somethings, you must take the most of it. You will find the thing you lost when all conditions are ready to arise.

Happy Lunar New Year and have a good year ahead!

April 2013~

I'm back! After MIA for months, I have the mood to write back on my blog. So many things happened for the past few months. As usual, my works is getting tougher. Everything need to be rush. One of my colleagues discussed with me about our project works and asked, 'Should we produce based on Quantity or Quality products?'. In my opinion, although everyone would like to produce quality products but due to time strain, they have to produce quantity products to meet the datelines and to appease the client. But in the end, when we check back the products, some are good quality and some are not. Work life is not easy and we have to bear with it. The strongest will remain on top while the weakest may quit. As I mentioned to my friends and family before, study time is the best time to enjoy. Less worries. To the readers who are still studying, try to maximize yourself to enjoy while you can before you start to work. Meanwhile, some of my colleagues asked me whether I am happy with my current job and I do not know how to answer them. I am still in the midst of A & B. But for now, I would like to take some time to enjoy my life by travel. It is not easy to find someone to accompany me to travel, since most of my friends have their own lives. Maybe I should try to backpacking by myself and where should I go first?

This morning, I found an interesting article. It's about relationships and I agree with it~

Relationships~

Relationships are harder now,
Because conversations became texting,
Arguments became phone call,
Feelings became subliminal messages,
Sex became easy,
The word 'Love' is used out of context,
Insecurities became a way of thinking,
Getting jealous became a habit,
Trust is hard to come by,
Being hurt became natural and leaving became the only option.

Sad but true, so if you have something that's worth it..

Don't take it for granted,
Fight for it and don't let it go!

Love~ We need it now~ Let's hope for some~

Have a good weekend and may God bless you!

Best of Luck~

We are going to step in to a new path.

During the study time, we can make mistakes and try to re correct back. But during at work, we need to be cautious enough on what we are doing. A mistake that you done during your work time may lead in to a disaster life for yourself.

To those who are still studying, you should enjoy your study life as much as you can because once you start to work, Hahaha~

I would like to wish Good Luck to my friends who will be going to start their first real job soon!

Don't worry, we have to face a lot of work problems. Just treat the problems as your challenge or a training to make you become a successful person.

Take care~ :D

I hope this song will reminds us that tonight is our last day of enjoyment and we will that 'We Are Young'~

Seniors & Juniors?

Suddenly I would like to write about something that keep my mind, which is the 'Seniors & Juniors'. What I saw today in my course department, the relationship between the seniors and juniors is getting wider. Not like last time, when I was a freshman in my university. The seniors are really friendly and the juniors can easily mix with them. The thing has changed. Nowadays, the seniors and juniors have their own world. Separated world. No connection between both sides. I saw some of the clubs and societies are trying to pull both sides closer but its failed. The students have their own agenda. They think they should concentrate on their studies and mix with their own peers only. With this mind set, they will be in a small group forever and may not know what is going on outside. There were few juniors said that the seniors are not friendly, not helpful and too ego. Same goes to the seniors who said the juniors are too ego, disrespect, immature and not independent. I think this phenomena will continues until they work in the future although I really hope this thing should come to an end. I was really lucky to have good seniors who helped me throughout my studies although they already graduated. Same goes to my former places, where the seniors who were willing to teach me something that I didn't learn in our class before. I appreciate their help and advice. Thank you to them. Because of them, I try to help the juniors whenever they need my assistance. But sometimes, the way juniors ask for help make me sad. Meanwhile, I noticed that some other universities implemented a program which is each students will have a senior to guide them throughout their studies and I think it was a great idea. At least the juniors will know well not only about their course but also the life of a student. I was wondering why my university do not want to implement this program? I think it's enough for to write craps here.

Happy Boxing Day to those who have presents to open it up~

27th May 2011

This is the second time, my supervisor not in the office for a whole day. He went for his training at the headquarters for two days. Although there is no supervision on me but I still need to settle my works. There are insufficient of materials at the site. For example, I need to use the wheelbarrow to bring the sand up to the building. Unfortunately, all of the wheelbarrows are broken & I need to borrow the other sub-contractor's wheelbarrow to let my worker to bring the sand up. It's really wasting my time to arrange this stuff. Meanwhile, my colleague was facing a difficult situation when he called the workers for help to carry the door frames. The workers didn't come down. He asked for my help to call them down. At first, they didn't listen to me. But after I met them, I told them that this work is your bowl of rice. If you didn't help my colleague, if you face the sound of tune. In the end, they followed me to go down & helped my colleagu. Sometimes is quite to ask the workers to do the work because we are just a trainee. But I will try my best to control them. I thought I can leave the site on time today but I was failed. LKC grabbed my time to check on my working progress. But he is a helpful senior because he is willing to teach me about the real construction environment, architecture design & requirements of it. He also gave his tips/quote to us which is the '4M" : Management, Man Power, Materials & Machinery to run a project~ After the discussion & had a short chat with him & my colleague, I offered my help to fetch my colleague back since today is his birthday. I understand the feeling of using public transport during at night time because I faced it before when I worked in a bookshop at KLCC. I always reached home around 11.30pm++ if I work from 1.30pm-10pm. When I reached home, I told my mom that I failed for my mission to reach home early. No choice, sometimes I need to finish my work so that I don't need to bring it forward to the next day & increase my burden. When I checked my email just now, I received an email from my university coordinator for internship. After a month, I know who is my visiting supervisor. I hope that I can make a good time arrangement for him to meet my supervisor at the site soon. And lastly, I read a post from a fan page that I support. There is a person lost his taekwondo belt after his training & he is a black belt holder. For my opinion, as a black belt holder, he/she should know how precious the belt is because the belt is representing a person dignity or a rank. If that person lost it, then it shows that the person is not qualify to wear the belt. This is what I learnt from my previous instructor & I taught the juniors about the importance of the belt & do not play it. After tomorrow, I still have a month left to work. But I still haven't decide whether I should extend my working period or not. Should I or shouldn't I?

9th May 2011

Everyone is talking about the weather today. Since last week, the weather is seem so hot. After a cold bath still sweat all over the body. But I still like this kind of weather for the next 2 months because it will be a good condition for me to work at construction site. Lesser problems will happen only. During the afternoon, one of my seniors, a lady who works for contract department need to go up to level 7 to meet her colleagues for an inspection. Can you imagine that a women need to use a passenger hoist with other workers & squeeze like a tin sardine? Furthermore, can you imagine that most of the workers are pervert & see the senior like a wolf? It is quite dangerous for a women who works on the site. If can, it's better to find a person to accompany when a women want to the inspection. Nobody know what will happen next. I think I started to miss my study life. I felt so funny when I saw some of the juniors' posts on Facebook. They wrote about how good or bad is the subjects & lecturers. It reminds me back my time in university for the last 3 years. Complained this & that. But in the end, I managed to go it through happily & sad. And lastly, I don't like people who can't finish their task on time. Discipline is very important & need to train it since young. At my work place, without discipline will caused a chaotic situation at the site. People who without discipline will not be a successful person in the future. Do you agree with me?
.

Path to Hell? ;)

7th May 2011

Usually people only work half day on Saturday but for site construction, I need to work for full day. I had a chance to go with the management staff to do site inspection today. It was from level 25 to ground floor. It took 2 hours to finish the inspection. I learnt a lot from the managers on how they do inspection. But there were a lot of problems occur. When the Project Manager or in short form PM complains about the problems occur, his subordinates need to solve the problems as soon as possible before the PM explodes. For example, my supervisor which is the Assistant Project Manager need to solve a lot of problems. He looked so frust today. When he needs to solve it, I will be the next person need to assist him to solve the problems. I asked a question to my supervisor when I worked for the second week. I asked: Mr. XXX, did you apply for an extra staff to help you to execute the tasks from the HQ? He said yes. In my mind, I know that it is unfortunate for him to receive a new staff which is here for an internship, not for full time. Furthermore, I'm like a pure white paper without any experience on site. I heard from my unimates that usually the supervisors will get some allowance when they take interns under them for training. So, I think I should make my supervisor more headache~ Hahaha~ Just joking. He is a good man. I will do my best to complete my tasks that given by him.

Meanwhile, I was fortunate to ate free lunch from a sub-contractor. He treated all of the management staff for the lunch. I felt weird that why my seniors like to eat Steamed Fish Head?? I already ate for the third time on Saturdays. But I don't care, at least I can save my money. After the lunch, I went to do some inspection again. I saw the 'Gold' for the second time. What a good treatment after the lunch. The 'Gold' is situated on level 18. One higher level. I guess tomorrow there will be another 'Gold' on level 19. =.=

I thought tonight I can rest well while watching the television but I can't. I need to settle some of the extra curricular jobs from my university. I wish I can ask the general workers to help me to settle the jobs. LOL~ And lastly, to readers, if you are still studying, please enjoy your study while you can before you will regret when you are working in the future.

2nd May 2011

I become a tour guide for one of friends who visited me at my hometown. I just realized that I'm not good in guide people for a tour & the place that I stay now doesn't have any best tourist attraction place & local products that people can buy. But I managed to bring my friend to eat the famous food next to my hometown. I hope my friend will satisfied with my tour guide today. Hahaha~

Meanwhile, I would like to write about the gadgets that a site engineer need to bring when they are going for an inspection after I worked on the site construction.

The gadgets that I suggested are as follow:

  1. Pens (At least 3 colours: Blue, Black, Red; to differentiate which words are important)
  2. Marker Pens (At least 2 colours: Blue, Red; to mark any points)
  3. Notebook (Need to write what is important, problems)
  4. Papers + Soft board (If you don't have any small notebook)
  5. Walkie-talkie (Need to contact with the supervisor, workers)
  6. Cellphone (Use to call people who without the walkie-talkie)
  7. Highlighter (At least 4 colours: Yellow, Red, Green, Blue; to highlight something on the map)
  8. Maps (To locate the area)
  9. Camera (To take any photos on methods of works, problem, as a proof to shoot the sub-contractors & girls from the opposite hotel swimming pool XD)
  10. Tape measure (To measure the anything)
  11. Helmet (To protect your head)
  12. Safety shoe ( To protect your feet)
  13. CIDB Card (To show that you are qualified to enter the site construction)
  14. Torchlight (To see the dark site clearly)
  15. And Lastly, your mind + courage. (You need to face the workers everyday & need to know how to solve any problems quickly. Time will not waiting for you)
If got any other gadgets or equipments that the readers have in your mind, please suggest it here. Thanks.

Osama Bin Laden just died. Will the world peace again without terrorism? Who knows?

30th April 2011

I already passed my 1st month of internship. How I feel? I feel I'm getting older but I still strong. I didn't get sick during my work time. I hope I will keep this momentum. Today, for the first time, my supervisor late for work because he was working overtime yesterday night. I think he really needs a long break. I felt so tired today. I just slept for 2 hours ++ this morning & need to worked for 8 hours. Luckily, I didn't fall from highest floor when I do inspection today. To readers, if you are working, you need to sleep at least 6 hours to gain back your energy for the next day. If not, your name will be on the main news on the next day. Meanwhile, today is the last for 2 of my colleagues to work at there. I wish them all the best in the future. At noon, almost all of the staff including myself went to a Thai Restaurant to give a farewell lunch for a consultant. The food looked nice but it was too spicy. The interaction between the seniors & myself are getting better. I was surprised again that the company's social club is organizing a movie time for the staff & it is free. I was delighted & will join them to watch the movie soon on next month. After lunch, I felt so lazy to go up again. I was too full. I just stayed in the office & read the method of statements on how to build & maintain the RC, Steel, Wall, Touch-up, etc~

While on my way from Pasar Seni LRT Station to KL KTM Station, there was a old lady passed by. Suddenly, she approached me & asked: Can you lend me RM2? I was like?? But in the end, I didn't give her & I walked off quickly. I felt pity her for wondering around but at the same time I need to protect myself. KL is not a very safe city especially at the Pasar Seni area. If the old lady really needs help, she should find police nearby. But there are a lot of swindlers from young to old people. Becareful~ Be smart & cautious all the time~

Tomorrow is Labour Day. I think Everyone who is working will be very happy & will rest or enjoy for a whole day. The good news is next Monday is also a holiday due to the replacement of the public holiday which falls on Sunday. But at my workplace, some of my seniors need to work. But I think they will get extra allowance. Anyway, I would like to wish Happy Labour Day! Enjoy~

28th April 2011

For the first time, I attended the staff meeting. I felt so scared because everyone were in serious look. Although I attended a lot of meetings during my studies time but here is totally different. When you say or decide something, you can't take it back. Need to becareful when you decide any decision. One Mistake will cause a Disastrous problem~ Now I know why sometimes my supervisor get so hot when he faced the problems. I managed to get feel & almost want to explode when the sub-contractors didn't do their task well. Really headache. This is one of the reasons why they project is delay. Meanwhile, I was surprised that one of the general workers know how to speak in English. Unfortunately, his boss changed his job from a passenger hoist operator become a general worker due to his laziness. I think a lot of people still don't know what time I wake up & what time I reach back to my house. Usually, I will wake up around 5.20am while the earliest time I will reach back home around 7.15pm. The latest time is 9.30pm if I work overtime. To readers, do not think that working is easy. Appreciate your studies time or holiday well. If you have a wife & children, it's better do not work on construction site unless your family understand your situation or you really need more money. I'm still thinking of should I continue to work in this industry after my graduation or not.

While I was waiting for the train at the station, next to me was an uncle chatted with a young girl. Suddenly, the uncle accidentally touch my back when he changed his sitting position. He apologized & checked on my uniform which school I'm studying. He chatted with the girl about the importance of Chinese Language. I was like @.@ Before he boarded the train, he asked me to take care of the young girl~ I was like double @.@ But it was funny~ Haha~

25th April 2011

The 4th week of my internship just started. Today my supervisor assigned me another task. Need to help him to inspect the riser wall for 1 floor. As usual, it took me more than 2 hours to settle the inspection. I need to be strict when I check all of the walls even though the sub-contractor gave a lot of excuses & denied there is something wrong on the wall. My supervisor told me that it depends on myself, whether to agree the contractors or stand on my own decision. Meanwhile, there is a sub-contractor told me about the 'Real' world of construction. It's about the the way contractors bribe the consultants or simply say corruption. Actually, my lecturer in university told to my class before about this matter. The sub-contractor even told me about the way to bribe the contractors. Furthermore, he told me that the contractors want to bribe the consultants because they hope that during the inspection time, the consultants will not inspect thoroughly.

Now I understand why the university want to force the students to study the engineering ethics before they graduate. Based on my 3 weeks in the construction works, I learnt that I need to be think smart & fast to survive in the working environment. If you are not smart enough, you will be lose in the battle during the meetings or any arguments with your colleagues or the sub-contractors. Face the reality. Life is not fair. Life is cruel. See how smart & strong are you to survive in this kind of environment. I'm on my way~

While I was waiting for my sister to fetch me back home, I read an article from a newspaper about the gender. To my surprise, a men who married his wife for 20 years++ & had a son, just noticed that his wife is a guy too~ LOL~ For those who are getting marry, please check your partner's gender before you marry. If not, you will regret~ ;)

Love & Lonely?

This morning, I read an article from a local newspaper. It's about the people who are in relationship faced loneliness. To my surprise, the author wrote that people who are married seem to suffer more loneliness than people who are still single. Do you agree with the author? The author even wrote that there is a researcher noted that feeling lonely may induce some health risks which are:

  • Increase in blood pressure
  • Increase in the level of stress & cortisol production
  • Negative impact on your immune system
  • Increase level of depression & anxiety
  • Increase in craving comfort foods or highly processed carbohydrates
  • Increase in calorie consumption
  • Increase in alcohol consumption & drug use
  • Sleepless nights
Wow~ I agree with the researcher. I'm wondering how I can stand by myself alone. In my opinion, there are many ways to get rid of loneliness. It depends on that person to think positively or continue to depress & feel lonely. If they are still continuing to depress, then they will think that they are useless & want to end their own lives. Family & Friend supports are really important. But the main thing is about yourself. Think carefully before you act something~

I would like to wish Happy Easter Day to those who celebrating it. I'm still miss 'her'~ 1 month didn't eat her~~

P/S: This is my 101 posts~ WoW~

22nd April 2011

Today, I continue to do the quality check on the wall. Not like yesterday when I checked 3 floors in 2 hours, today I took 2 hours with my senior to checked 1 floor with 11 rooms. Today, the clients & the consultants visited the mock up area. The place is not ready yet. Still got the electrical installation, painting & the furnitures set up haven't done yet. I saw my supervisor's face is getting darker. He looks like http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guan_Yu. I do not dare to disturb him. But it's good also. At least he don't have time to assign extra jobs to me. How lazy am I.. Haha~ Actually, my workload is increasing. I need to help my supervisor to check a lot of things. Living expenses in KL is really high especially for the food. For lunch, if the food price is between RM6-RM10 is consider cheap. No more RM3 food price. I'm not sure I can save my money for the trip or not.

During my internship, I need to learn as much as I could so that when I graduate, I won't be like a white paper. At least I got some knowledge about the my future works. When I came back from KL, I heard a uncle told to a youngster that civil engineering is the easiest subject among the engineering courses. Actually, I heard this from everyone since last 3 years ago. In my opinion, each courses has their own difficulties. You cannot say that it is the easiest subject because you didn't study the course at all.

Anyway, I would like to wish Happy Good Friday & Happy Earth Day! Life still need to go on~

18th April 2011

My mum told me that I should smile on the mirror every morning so that I have a good day everyday. But still, I felt unhappy today. Actually, I faced some of the problems since my first week of my internship. I'm not sure I'm a slow learner or I'm not familiar with the environment. By right, I should familiar with the work & perform well but I can't. Is it I feel that I bored with my work already? Maybe? Sometimes I think some of my coursemates who work in the office. Although they will get a lot of tasks but still they do not need to confront with varieties of people & work under the bad environment. Furthermore, they seldom go for site investigation unless the project is urgent. Therefore, I still stand with my point, work on site is much harder than work in the office. Maybe some of the readers will disagree with me. But I hope that the readers will understand that everyone got their own point of view. I don't want to count down when I'm going to finish my internship like when I count down my final exam starts. I try to think positive & love the job. It's a good training for me to be more tough. To those who are tough, Come! Work on site construction.

When I had my dinner just now, I was distracted by a girl who wore a very short shirt, or I can say that can see her front part openly. I wondering why nowadays girls like to wear as less as possible? Is it the weather is too hot? Or she want to live in the Garden of Eden? Or she want to sell her body? I think maybe the readers will think that I'm a conservative guy. I just hope that the women should wear at least cover the parts for their own safety. There were a lot of rape cases in the city. They should know how to protect themselves. I think that is all I want to write my craps today. Tomorrow will be another day~

Changes?

Changes?

Any Changes?

I was thinking about this question when one of my coursemates talked about the changes of our live, from physically to mentally. When I saw the pictures from the Facebook, I saw most of my friends changed a lot. From a young look in to mature look.

How about myself? Did I change?

From a pure white paper to a messy written paper?

I'm not sure I change or not. Maybe yes, maybe no.

Academic matters, it's like a stock market. Sometimes increase, sometimes decrease. Attitude, sometimes too kind, sometimes too evil.

But one thing for sure that I haven't change, I'm still a bachelor for 22 years ++ Hahaha~ Although admired few for the past years. For now, still left one year to go before I graduate. It's better for me to concentrate on my studies & create my future career first

There was a change on our Mother Earth since the 2004 Tsunami. This year, there were another crisis in Christchurch & Sendai, which the earthquake & tsunami happened. I would like to express my sympathy to the victims for the both cities citizen. I hope they will stay strong.

Is it the 2012 world ends is coming soon? I'm not sure about it. Life still need to go on. Just do our best to achieve our goals, as a better human!

Final exam is around the corner. I hope that I manage to do it well. Once I filled the questions with the answers, then it will be great. Forget the past, Look for the future~

Good luck to my coursemates & unimates!

22 days before my internship starts~~~

Ciaoz~

G.F.P.

WARNING: This post is not suitable for those who are 18 years old & below or has the sexualism thoughts~

I read one of my friend's blog just now. Surprisingly this is the first time I know the term of 'Gay For Pay'~

I want to share it with the readers. I never heard or read it before until just now. First, I don't believe it until I watched the video recommended by my friend in the blog in Youtube. It was 'The Tyra Bank Show' video. My eyes are widened. Wow~ I'm shocked! I heard a 'straight' man (who got 3 kids + 1 kid is coming soon) is willingly to act in gay porn. How can he is a straight man & at the same time do sex with another man? How they get the feel to do it if both of them are straight? Treat the partner as a women? I don't dare to think further. @.@ In the video, I also learned that act in gay porn can earn more money than straight porn. No wonder some of the straight man are willing to do so. I'm wondering how he is going to explain to his children about this in the future when their children accidentally watch their father is a gay porn star? Probably got another version of 'Lesbian For Pay'? This is the link to watch the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQensCD7xcE

I don't know what the readers of this blog are going to comment about it. But, I just want to say is 'The World is Changing'~ I'm not encouraging homosexual acts but I'm respecting them because every human on the Earth have their own rights~

P/S: I'm a straight young man~

365 Nights of Sex~

When I looked at the main page of StarTwo today, I saw a column: 365 Nights of Sex...Wow...Then I turned the newspaper to page 6....It's about an author's marriage & the book: 365 Nights, Memoirs of Intimacy...The author gave a special gift to her husband 40th birthday...She was going to give him the gift of sex for 365 nights...Wow...Unbelievable...Amazing...

In my opinion, there are some pros & cons about the gift...I felt that if we are going to have sex every nights, probably we can stop our partners having affairs...This will strengthening the relationship...

But, if your partners don't have the feel to do it & do it anyway, this attitude will cause no good for the relationship...The partners will felt bored about it & makes the relationship strain...

Actually, it depends on the couples...Every couples have their own feel...Probably having sex for every nights will makes them happy...Probably having sex for every nights will makes them bored or tired...

But in Malaysia, people are not keen to sex due to workloads, pressure, etc...Not like the westerners, more open...

The author concludes with some advice for the couples: "However often you are doing it, double it. And six months from now, double it again. It's proof that you're here, alive and very together." Haha...what a 'good' advice...

p/s: This is just an opinion and I hope that the reader(s) who read this blog, please don't follow the steps if you feel unpleasant with it and I strongly agree that sex education should be teach in the school to avoid any bad cases to happen...

Probably I'm going to read this book in the bookshop if I got time~
